Lucky Charms of Turkmenistan

Turkmenistan's charm culture is rooted in Turkmen nomadic tradition and Sunni Islam. The göl — the distinctive diamond-shaped tribal motif woven into Turkmen carpets — functions as a clan totem and protective symbol.
